Welcome to the official website of the British Embassy in Kuwait. The new layout and look of the website provides information about Britain's relations with Kuwait and our work in the Gulf region.

Our website is divided into sections so as to provide easier navigation and access to all areas of the site.

We hope you will find our site helpful and easy to navigate. Do not hesitate to contact us with feedback or if you are having trouble locating information.  

Important notices

Due to unexpected high demand we are temporarily unable to issue standard 32 page passports to adults. Jumbo 48 page passports are currently available. We are still issuing 32 page child passports. New stocks of 32 page passports will arrive at the Embassy at the beginning of April 2010. The current price of a jumbo 48 page passport is KD 75.250. If you current passport still has validity you may wish to delay renewal until April.

Consular Section closure:

The Consular Section will be closed to the public on Sunday 14 February 2010 for an essential training day; meaning that the Consular counter will not be open to the public throughout Sunday and will re-open as usual on Monday 15 February 2010 between 08:00 and 13:00.
