Where to apply

If you are a resident in Kuwait, you can only apply for your UK passport at the Consular section of our Embassy in Dasman.

Passport services at our offices

The passport services available at our Consular section are:

• collecting passport application forms
• collecting the LS01 form to report your passport lost or stolen
• paying your passport fee in person by cash and in Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) only
• submitting your passport application form in person

What to submit

To apply for a UK passport in Kuwait you must submit:

• your completed application form
• your 2 passport photographs
• your supporting documents
• your previous passport
• the correct fee in Kuwaiti Dinars.

Processing your passport application

It takes 10 working days to process your passport application from the date we receive it.

Our staff will not be able to process your application or there may be a delay issuing your passport if:

• you have used the wrong form or completed it incorrectly
• you do not provide the correct fee
• you do not supply the correct documents
• your photographs do not meet the requirements set by IPS.
