You need to pay the correct fee in the local currency when applying for your passport.

Methods of payment

We can accept payments by cash in Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) only. We cannot accept other payment types.

Prices

The following prices are correct as of 3 September 2009. fees are charged to cover the cost of processing an application. These prices are subject to change without notice.

Adult Standard Passport (32 pages)

GBP: £124.50
KD: 62.250 KD

Adult 'Jumbo' Passport (48 pages)

GBP: £150.50
KD: 75.250 KD

Child - under 16 - Passport (32 pages)

GBP: £79.50
KD: 39.750 KD

The Consular Exchange rate is calculated at £1 = 0.500 KD.

Please allow 10 working days for your passport application to be processed.

Additional fees

There is a call out fee for issuing a passport outside of office hours. You will need to add this fee to the cost of the passport.

The rate is for every hour or part of an hour for each member of our staff.

GBP: £128.00 per hour or part of an hour
KD: 64 KD per hour or part of an hour

The maximum charge is £922 GPS or 461 KD.
