''Her Majesty's Ambassador Michael Aron presents the Chevening award to Nadeyah Al Reiahi.''

The British Embassy held an Award presentation ceremony for the new Chevening Scholar of 2009-2010 on 31 August 2009.  The award was presented to Nadeyah Al-Reiahi by His Excellency Michael Aron, British Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, in the presence of prominent education professionals, the Kuwait Association of British Alumni (KABA), and staff members from the British Embassy & British Council. Nadeyah Al-Reiahi gained her Bachelor in Education from Kuwait University .  She is going to do a Masters in TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages) at the University of Nottingham in the UK .

The evening included bidding farewell to the outgoing Director of the British Council, Graham McCulloch, and welcoming the new Director, Stephen Forbes.
